Player Development Plan
Our Hybrid Player Development Plan blends the structure of in-person coaching with the flexibility of remote training. Athletes receive one weekly 2-hour session focused on performance training and their choice of hitting or pitching skill work, while continuing development remotely through our training app with video demos, corrective work, and individualized plans. Every athlete begins with a full onboarding process—including intake meeting, movement screening, video/data breakdown, and PT check—ensuring the right foundation from day one. This plan is the ideal balance of professional coaching, accountability, and flexibility for busy families.

Getting started
After submitting your application, our team will carefully review your information. If accepted, you will receive an official acceptance letter into the program, welcoming you to the New Athlete Baseball family.

Upon joining the program, we believe in setting clear expectations, goals, and individual player plans. You will have the opportunity to meet with our experienced staff to discuss your aspirations, objectives, and how we can tailor our program to suit your needs.
Assessments
& analysis
We prioritize player safety and performance, which is why we conduct comprehensive physical therapy (PT) assessments and movement screenings. This step allows us to identify any potential areas for improvement and develop a targeted approach to enhance your athletic performance.

To maximize your potential on the field, our program includes rigorous strength and conditioning testing. Through these assessments, we assess your current physical abilities, establish baseline measurements, and develop a customized training plan to enhance your strength, speed, agility, and endurance.

Using advanced technology, such as video analysis and Rapsodo, we dive deep into your hitting or pitching technique. Our experts will closely examine your mechanics, identify areas of improvement, and provide invaluable insights to refine your skills and optimize your performance on the diamond.

To excel in baseball, you need a holistic training approach. Our program offers custom workout plans, pre-game preparation routines, and mobility routines tailored to your specific needs. These plans are designed to enhance your overall athleticism, increase flexibility, and promote injury prevention.

As a baseball player, arm care is of utmost importance. Our program includes a personalized arm care regimen, developed by our experts, to ensure the health and longevity of your throwing arm. By focusing on proper warm-up techniques, targeted exercises, and recovery protocols, we prioritize the well-being of your arm.

Building upon the analysis conducted in our testing phase , we will create a customized hitting or pitching plan tailored to your specific strengths, weaknesses, and goals. Through personalized drills, techniques, and training sessions, we aim to enhance your abilities and unlock your full potential as a player.

communication
The New Athlete Baseball team will use The Futures App for player and coach communication. This will allow for constant feedback and support to ensure the athlete is progressing as expected.

Remote athletes will have the opportunity to schedule individual sessions with the New Athlete Baseball staff to discuss progress, ask questions, and receive further guidance.
Progression
The New Athlete Baseball team will retest the athlete periodically to track progress and make adjustments to their custom workout and hitting/pitching plans.

Scheduled video check-ins will be conducted by the New Athlete Baseball team to ensure that the athlete is progressing as expected, and their goals and expectations are being met. Any necessary adjustments will be made to their workout and hitting/pitching plans to ensure continued progress.
