Youth Developmental Hitting
The TPS Youth Hitting System is a structured developmental hitting program designed to help young athletes build athletic movement patterns, improve swing efficiency, develop strike-zone awareness, and compete with confidence.
This is not a high-volume cage program built around mindless reps. Every session is designed with purpose — combining movement training, hitting development, pitch recognition, baseball IQ, and competition into one complete developmental system.
Our goal is to teach athletes how to move efficiently from the ground up while creating swings that transfer into real game performance.
Throughout the program, athletes will develop:
• Better lower-half movement and ground force usage
• Improved balance, sequencing, and swing efficiency
• Barrel consistency and quality contact
• Pitch recognition and strike-zone awareness
• Situational hitting understanding
• Competitive confidence and athletic freedom
The program is built specifically for youth athletes, using age-appropriate progressions and scalable drills that allow beginners and advanced players to improve within the same environment.
Each 60-minute session includes:
• Dynamic movement preparation
• Mechanical hitting development
• Pitch recognition and approach training
• Competitive hitting games and challenges
Training methods include:
• Tee progressions
• Med ball and movement drills
• Kettlebell and water bag progressions
• Live flips and machine work
• Strike-zone recognition drills
• Competitive barrel and performance games
• Monthly Rapsodo testing and feedback
At TPS, we believe young hitters should learn how to move athletically, think confidently, and compete freely — not become robotic hitters chasing positions and mechanics.
The TPS Youth Hitting System creates an environment that is competitive, energetic, challenging, and development-focused while giving athletes a clear structure for long-term growth.

Developmental Hitting Membership
TPS Developmental Hitting Membership is designed for middle school and early high school athletes who are ready to move beyond basic swing instruction and begin building a complete offensive skill set.
This program bridges the gap between foundational youth development and higher-level competitive baseball by introducing more advanced movement patterns, swing intent, approach development, adjustability, and game-performance training.
Athletes at this stage require more than simple mechanics. They need structure, feedback, competition, and an environment that teaches them how to move athletically, understand their swing, make adjustments, and compete under pressure.
The TPS Developmental Hitting Membership is built to develop hitters who can:
• Create efficient and repeatable movement patterns
• Generate better force and energy transfer
• Improve barrel consistency and ball flight quality
• Understand swing decisions and pitch selection
• Adjust to different pitch types and locations
• Compete with intent and confidence in game environments
Unlike younger developmental programs focused heavily on introducing foundational movement concepts, this program places a greater emphasis on:
• Athletic swing efficiency
• Dynamic movement patterns
• Intent and bat speed development
• Strike-zone discipline
• Situational approach training
• Competitive transfer into live environments
Each training session combines:
• Movement preparation and rotational training
• Advanced hitting mechanics and sequencing work
• Tee, flip, and machine progressions
• Pitch recognition and approach development
• Competitive training environments
• Live decision-making and game-style hitting scenarios
Athletes will train using:
• Med ball and rotational power work
• Kettlebells and water bag progressions
• Dynamic movement drills
• Velocity and machine work
• Rapsodo feedback and testing
• Competitive barrel and contact games
The environment is structured to challenge athletes physically and mentally while continuing to build confidence, athleticism, and offensive consistency.
This is not a lesson-based cage program focused solely on mechanics. The TPS Developmental Hitting Membership is designed to prepare athletes for the next stage of competitive baseball by developing movement quality, offensive understanding, adjustability, and game-ready hitting performance.
