Elaborate 5+ day per week player development plan of which will include intensive PT screening, movement profile screening, strength and conditioning baseline testing, and hitting/pitching testing (rapsodo). This is an all inclusive plan that will provide players with a detailed road map of their workout plan, arm care program, mobility/prep work/movement program, and hitting/pitching programs. We designed this plan for the dedicated player who is willing to put the time and effort in, to develop their game.

Getting started

After submitting your application, our team will carefully review your information. If accepted, you will receive an official acceptance letter into the program, welcoming you to the New Athlete Baseball family.

Upon joining the program, we believe in setting clear expectations, goals, and individual player plans. You will have the opportunity to meet with our experienced staff to discuss your aspirations, objectives, and how we can tailor our program to suit your needs.

Assessments

& analysis

We prioritize player safety and performance, which is why we conduct comprehensive physical therapy (PT) assessments and movement screenings. This step allows us to identify any potential areas for improvement and develop a targeted approach to enhance your athletic performance.

To maximize your potential on the field, our program includes rigorous strength and conditioning testing. Through these assessments, we assess your current physical abilities, establish baseline measurements, and develop a customized training plan to enhance your strength, speed, agility, and endurance.

Using advanced technology, such as video analysis and Rapsodo, we dive deep into your hitting or pitching technique. Our experts will closely examine your mechanics, identify areas of improvement, and provide invaluable insights to refine your skills and optimize your performance on the diamond.

To excel in baseball, you need a holistic training approach. Our program offers custom workout plans, pre-game preparation routines, and mobility routines tailored to your specific needs. These plans are designed to enhance your overall athleticism, increase flexibility, and promote injury prevention.

As a baseball player, arm care is of utmost importance. Our program includes a personalized arm care regimen, developed by our experts, to ensure the health and longevity of your throwing arm. By focusing on proper warm-up techniques, targeted exercises, and recovery protocols, we prioritize the well-being of your arm.

Building upon the analysis conducted in our testing phase , we will create a customized hitting or pitching plan tailored to your specific strengths, weaknesses, and goals. Through personalized drills, techniques, and training sessions, we aim to enhance your abilities and unlock your full potential as a player.

Progression

As you progress through the program, we believe in regularly assessing your development. Periodic retesting of all baseline data points allows us to gauge your growth, identify areas of improvement, and make necessary adjustments to your training plan. Additionally, regular player check-ins ensure open communication and provide an opportunity to address any concerns or queries you may have.
